Terms & Conditions

1. Scope of Services
Brickwise Estimating provides construction quantity take-offs and estimating services based on drawings, specifications, and information supplied at the time of instruction. Services are advisory in nature unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Basis of Information
All take-offs, quantities, and measurements are prepared in good faith using the information available at the time of preparation. No responsibility is accepted for incomplete, incorrect, or superseded information provided by third parties.
Outputs are dependent on the quality, clarity, and completeness of the information supplied.

3. Verification Responsibility
It remains the sole responsibility of the client or recipient to check and verify all outputs against contract drawings, specifications, structural information, and any relevant consultant or design updates prior to use for procurement, valuation, tender submission, or construction purposes.
Brickwise Estimating accepts no liability for discrepancies arising from drawing revisions, coordination issues, design changes, or interpretation differences after issue.

4. Drawings and Revisions
Services are based on the latest information provided at the time of undertaking the work. Unless explicitly agreed otherwise, ongoing revision tracking, design coordination, or reconciliation with subsequent drawing updates is not included.
Any additional revisions or re-measurement requests may be treated as additional services and charged accordingly.

5. Limitations of Liability
Brickwise Estimating takes reasonable care in the preparation of all outputs. However, all quantities and measurements are produced from drawings and information supplied and may be subject to human interpretation, drafting tolerances, and the quality of information provided.

The client acknowledges that errors or omissions may occur and agrees that these do not constitute grounds for withholding payment or rejecting the service once delivered.

Where an error is identified and notified in writing within a reasonable period, Brickwise Estimating may, at its sole discretion, correct the relevant section of work. This shall be the sole remedy available.

Brickwise Estimating shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or financial losses arising from the use of its outputs, including but not limited to tender errors, project losses, or commercial disputes.

Liability for any claim arising from the service is strictly limited to the value of the fee paid for the specific service provided.

6. Turnaround and Programme
Where services are provided on short notice or accelerated programmes, the client acknowledges that outputs are delivered within the constraints of the information supplied and agreed timeframe.

7. Payment Terms
Invoices are payable within the agreed payment terms stated on the invoice.
Payment is not contingent upon client payment from third parties, project outcomes, or subsequent commercial disputes unless expressly agreed in writing prior to commencement.
Brickwise Estimating reserves the right to suspend or decline further work where payment terms are not met.

8. Amendments and Additional Work
Reasonable minor amendments may be included at the discretion of Brickwise Estimating. Significant revisions, redesigns, or scope changes will be treated as additional services and charged accordingly.

9. Acceptance of Terms
By instructing Brickwise Estimating to carry out work, the client is deemed to have accepted these Terms & Conditions.

10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
